一名男子因近期前往刚果民主共和国（DRC）后，被怀疑感染埃博拉病毒，目前已在海法拉宾医疗中心接受治疗。以色列卫生部于周五发布了这一消息。该国卫生部门自2026年5月15日首次在刚果民主共和国报告埃博拉疫情以来，一直在为治疗埃博拉患者的可能性做准备。
据卫生部称，这名疑似埃博拉患者正在隔离治疗，同时正在进行接触者追踪，以通知可能与该患者有过接触的任何人。
非洲疾病预防控制中心周四表示，目前在刚果民主共和国和乌干达爆发的埃博拉疫情（特别是Bundibugyo病毒株）在第一个月已导致超过200人死亡，是该阶段已知最严重的疫情，估计有高达35,000名潜在接触者。
